New Applicants

Complete the scholarship application form using a personal Gmail account.  If you do not have a Gmail account, please create one prior to completing the application.  Submit your completed application and all attachments by 5:00 PM on March 6th, 2026.  Late submissions will not be considered.

With your application, please include the following attachments:

  • Original essay (maximum two pages) on the topic: "Tell us the story of who you are and how you plan to make a positive impact on our community and the world."
  • High school transcripts. You may request a copy from your counseling office or download one from Infinite Campus.
  • Two letters of recommendation from school staff, an employer, or a community member.
    Tip: Ask for letters early and choose people who know you well. Share a list of your accomplishments to help them write a strong letter.

ELIGIBILTY

To qualify for the Hispanic Education Foundation Scholarship, applicants must: 

  • Be a current-year graduate of St. Vrain Valley School District
  • Be accepted to an accredited college, university, or vocational school before receiving the award

SELECTION

Applicants are evaluated on:

  • Personal qualities and strengths
  • Essay
  • Financial need
  • Community and school participation
  • Unique or extenuating circumstances
  • GPA

Preference is given to first generation college students
